Dwarf Introduction: Melee Action!
Give salutations to...
THE DWARF!
This ain't no namby-pamby beer-drinkin', beard-sportin' sissy mountain or cave dwarf. This dwarf comes from a hardy race of stout nomads, favoring the "fu man chu" above the odorous facial braids. Once a conquering people, the Dwarfs of Ye Olde Worlde have since decided to mellow things out a bit. Oh, but you know how things get when you bottle up your emotions. Sometimes you just gotta BREAK STUFF.
Priceless Elf urn? More like priceless... shards of ... broken... urn. Destroyed on the sand. Broken by an angry Dwarf. Yeah, more like that.
To compliment his introduction, we'll let you in on a few things about the Dwarf's prowess in melee combat. We're talking huge weapons with which to smash... well... anything! BAM! Take this great mace, for instance. He holds it with his meaty hands and swings it just like so in order to conquer that other urn.
Of course, the Dwarf's skill in melee allows him to not just break urns, but also knock over baddies and pummel their prone, vulnerable bodies.
Naturally, beefier Dwarfs can hold beefier weapons. Take this warhammer, for instance. It's longer and stronger than the mace. Furthermore, the Dwarf can do wicked melee attacks with this hammer, like a crushing whirl attack that clears a nice little area around the Dwarf.
Of course, you could also break apart old ruins with the warhammer, as this Dwarf has proven.
Finally, the mightiest Dwarfs decide to represent their conquesting heritage with a proprietary home-made favorite: The Siege Ram. This is 95% pure tree, baby, and while iron and steel may be what other guys like to make their weapons out of, the Dwarf merely uses metal as a way to sling around this devastating, enormous and economic melee weapon.
With it, the Dwarf is able to pummel extraordinary force into the ground, sending out a quaking shockwave. Most enemies have a hard time standing up when this happens. The Ram is also great for traditional smacking-of-foes. Take this weird little teal thing, for instance. The Dwarf certainly got him the good ones!
Ultimately the melee focused Dwarf is tough, difficult to knockdown and is able to exert extreme blunt force upon swarms of foes in melee. A force to be reckoned with to be sure!
