Shield Knight Introduction: Shield and Wield!

Today we're going to introduce a very special character in Ye Olde Panic:

Get Pumped!

the Shield Knight!

As you can see, he's holding two shields! You may ask yourself, "I wonder how many shields the other characters can hold?" The answer is a resounding "NONE!" See, the thing is, two shields is awesome and the other characters are afraid of how cool it is.

Actually, you can't see him holding his shields in that picture. Let me bring a good one up for you...

I need to grow up!

This is your basic Shield Knight. He holds a pair of wooden shields; nothing too fancy. Being that they live in the middle of the trade world, the Humans in Ye Olde Panic have often found themselves under attack from all angles. To compensate, they decided to have the best defense possible, but hey, when you have shields you might as well hit things with them. So they added blades to the shields:

I heard you like shields and blades. So I put some blades on your shields so you can hit while you block.

As you can see, a Skeleton is being punched in the face. His shield is obviously inferior to the knight's. Of course, you only get awesome shields like that if you decide that you're dedicated to the shield bashing path of combat. These shields can also be used to reflect ranged attacks back to the firer and as you may be able to guess, they work a lot better for hitting things.
If you're really dedicated, you'll end up with this:

Beauty can only be appreciated while smashing bones with large arm attachments.

That guy is amazing. I certainly wouldn't want to meet him in any sort of alley. It's a good thing he's a player character. It may seem obvious, but let me point this out: he sports the best defense in the game by using his shields to deflect attacks as well as mitigate their power. This guy does not go down easy, but while he may not be as good a slugger as the Dwarf, he's still no slouch in the actual fight. If he needs to, he can give everyone around him a solid whack on the head with his shields and believe me, you do not want to be on the receiving end of that.

And now, in all his resplendent glory:

Sometimes I write things. This is an example.

I don't have a big boldy signature like Josiah or Walker
